Florida is two states for a gun owner. On the coasts it is carry pistols and home defense; inland, from the Panhandle pines to the prairies around Okeechobee, it is deer seasons in four zones and feral hogs that never go out of season on private land. We stock for both: compact 9mm pistols, AR-15s and .308s for hogs, bolt rifles for deer, and 12-gauges for ducks and Osceola turkeys.
Florida buyers must be 21 to buy a firearm from a dealer, and most purchases carry a 3-day waiting period (some counties set their own). Since July 2023 you may carry a concealed handgun without a license if you are eligible, and many owners still get a Concealed Weapon License from FDACS for travel.
